Clevedon Community Energy Hub

Clevedon Community Centre has the opportunity to become a community energy hub for the local area and its residents, demonstrating how local organisations can address both the climate emergency and the cost-of-living crisis through community-led action.

Phase 1 - a 16kW array on the Princes Bar that will help reduce the Charity's significant electricity bill.

Costing around £17k, this flat roof system could save the CCC charity over £5000 per year for 25 years.

Phase 2 - A renovated theatre roof with 50kW of solar, transforming it into a mini-renewable energy power station for the benefit of the local community.
